Rail Links
Northamptonshire has four rail stations. Wellingborough and Kettering stations are both on the East Midlands route. From either station there are frequent services to London St. Pancreas, a journey which takes approximately an hour. Each station also runs services to Leicester, Derby and Nottingham. Additionally, from Kettering, there are direct services to Sheffield.Northampton and Long Buckby stations are on the London Midlands route which runs south to London Euston and north to Birmingham New Street. From Northampton station there are also Virgin train services which give a 48 minute journey time to Euston.
