After doing her time in London, Kaarin Goodburn relocated to Northamptonshire in 2002. She is a food safety and technology management consultant, with an international client base that includes food manufacturers, retailers, professional institutes, research organisations and Government agencies. In addition, Kaarin runs a major national food manufacturers trade association. Kaarin is a dual national of Finland and the UK. 

"I decide to move to Northamptonshire because of the high number of chilled food manufacturers within an hour of Kettering, and for the relative ease of travel into London for all those Governmental necessities. Beyond these work requirements the personal attraction was and remains the countryside, quality of life and the opportunity (not yet taken) to rebalance the work/life equation. The people in Northamptonshire have been welcoming and sociable, and I am still getting used to the apparently vast number of interpersonal connections in this relatively small town!"
