10/04/2008 - Brackmills Estate Gets Together
The Investor Development Team have been working strategically with companies based on the Brackmills Industrial Estate in Northampton, to form networking groups to discuss issues on common themes for companies on the estate.
Three highly successful networking groups have formed with ongoing meetings covering areas such as Human Resources, Health & Safety, and general issues on the estate. A further group is planned, and will be announced shortly.
The groups are continuing to grow and any company based on the Brackmills Industrial Estate is eligible to join and participate in the meetings. Feedback so far from attendees is that the groups are great at getting organisations together to collectively share best practice and discuss issues that jointly affect them in and around the estate. Topics currently being discussed include community work and how to improve the Brackmills estate.
Charlotte Patrick, Investor Development Manager, commented:

Due to the success of the networking groups we are now looking to roll out similar groups on other industrial estates in the county."
