Aims and Objectives
Invest Northamptonshire is the county's investment promotion agency - a product of successful partnership between public bodies and private business. Its primary aim is to promote business growth and job-creation through increasing investment by new and existing businesses. Because of its essential role in the Sustainable Communities Plan, it also has the backing of the Government.
Our plan is to develop a robust, high value economy over the next thirty years by focusing efforts on the generation of value-added business growth, with an emphasis on customer focus and working alongside all our key partners in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
We aim to:
- Attract new investors - expansion and relocation projects from within the UK and overseas
- Promote the retention and growth of existing investors - including our large employers, key growth businesses and foreign-owned companies
- Stimulate the supply of business accommodation that meets the needs of new and growing investors
